SUNDAY CELEBRATION
During the Summer, Join us on Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM for a simplified, family friendly worship service.
We celebrate the gathering of God and His people through musical worship, Scripture, a sermon from Pastor Dani or a member of the CWOW Teaching Team, and communion. Each week, there is an opportunity to receive confidential prayer for specific needs. The vibe is easygoing and relaxed (no need to dress up unless you want to!) and all are welcome.
So whether you are new to the area, curious about faith, or seeking a church home, we invite you to join us!
Find us at The Way Christian Center (1305 University Ave., Berkeley).
Parking
There is a small parking lot behind the church, accessible from Berkeley Way. Street parking is available on University Ave and Berkeley Way. Look for the CWOW signs and enter via the Northern entrance.
transit
The Way is a 9 minute walk from the North Berkeley Bart Station. The Way is also a 2 minute walk from the University Ave & Bonar St. stop of Line 51B of the AC Transit bus which runs every 12 minutes on Sunday mornings, and a 6 minute walk from the Sacramento St. and University Ave stop of Line 88 of the AC Transit bus which runs every 20 minutes on Sunday mornings.
Kids Min
Throughout the month of July our Sunday Celebration service will be intergenerational, allowing all ages to worship together. We believe that welcoming children into worship reflects the heart of Jesus, who invited children to be part of His community. Our goal is for every child to feel a sense of belonging within our church family. Our regular Kids Min program available for children ages 2 years through 4th grade will resume after the Summer.
CWOW YOUTH
Throughout the month of July our Sunday Celebration service will be intergenerational, allowing all ages to worship together. Youth Ministry, open to ages 5th grade through 12th will resume after the Summer.
